Ohh 🇨🇦Thanks for the Cold(play) Welcome my

The weekend of July 11th-13th, 2025 my wife suprised me with a belated birthday present.  A little trip for the two of us to Toronto to see TB & LB.  It was also the weekend of the Toronto Coldplay concert and with a little help from Abby we scored 4 tickets to the show.

We arrived late on Thursday and started to gradually roll into the weekend.  We started picking up a little speed at lunch.

Expresso Martini 🍸 time!!

Moscow Mule. The ginger is healthy

The lunch was fantastic and the hummus was on point.  The drinks made the blog so obviously they were fantastic as well.

Just two legends taking a power nap

Refreshed and renewed for a nap and a shower, it was time to take the train to Coldplay.  An uneventful and smooth ride out of Toronto to the venue.  Once there it was like a 2 mile walk in the heat to get into the actual park where the show was taking place.  I was sustained by the thought of a cold beer at the end of the dusty road.

Pregaming!!! $11 dollar Mich Ultras!!

The sun is still out and our seats look great.

After the concert it was a train ride back into Toronto and straight to bed.  We needed a plan for Saturday. Hopefully, we could find something to do in Toronto.

After everyone was up we decided to ask ChatGPT to help us with a food tour of Toronto’s iconic Kensington Market neighborhood. We will get a little food and maybe some drinks.

Our first stop was the Finka Cafe. Scandinavian inspired coffee shop with sweet treats, fresh coffee and chill vibes.

We returned home after a fun day exploring the Kensington Market.  Great food, Great views and Grea family.  We cleaned up and refreshed and headed to dinner at Don Alfonso’s, a Michelin star rated restaurant at the top of the Westin in downtown Toronto.
