Rolling with my homies

March 26th came early.  The car picked us up for the airport at 5:45.  The line at the Minneapolis airport was not as ridiculous as anticipated.  A little breakfast and off to Costa Rica.

On the plane something amazing happened, the girls sat together and did not fight. Kari and I both feel asleep for about an hour at the start.  The flight was otherwise uneventful.

In Liberia, our driver Alex picked us up we stopped at a market for some warm Diet Coke and then we headed to the rainforest and the volcanos.

Along the way we stopped for a late lunch Cafe and Macadamia.  The girls had smoothies, the adults had a nice cold glass of Costa Rica's own Imperial beer.  We tried a traditional rice,bean and chicken dish and a traditional tilapia dish both were quite good. 

We finally arrived at the Springs resort.  After checking in we had time for some hot mineral springs and a late dinner.  The sunsets early in Costa Rica so it was off to bed by 10.  Tommorrow, white  water rafting, God help us all.
