New York, New York

After 13 miles of walking, we had just enough time to change and make dinner at Del Friscos, steakhouse.  After my map app lead us in the wrong direction for 6 minutes we finally righted our course and arrived.  A little crunched for time, we quickly ordered.  If Junior's 🍩 were the worst thing I had in my mouth, the pineapple 🍍 🍸 was the best.  My cares washed away in a few delicious sips.  Steaks all around, crab cakes and some onion rings, dinner was glorious.

We then made our way over to the New Amsterdam theatre for Aladdin!!!

The beauties can really move when motivated

We dropped in our seats and patiently waited for the show to start.  This old restored theater was amazing on its own.

They don't make them like this anymore

 Let's raise the curtain

We are ready to go.

The show was amazing. Beautiful songs, super funny and the stage effects were unbelievable.  Really couldn't have enjoyed it more.

The signature move makes an appearance

Interestingly, an older couple and their granddaughter showed up late and scooted past us.  During intermission we chatted, great guy who lived in Eden Prairie back in the day and loves to go fishing in Florida.  In contrast we had the two meanest people ever in front of us. The lady got made at Katie for hitting her chair.  If you have ever watched Katie squirm around it was the lightest touch she has landed on a chair in 12 years.  I shifted in my seat after intermission and the husband went crazy.  Waving is arms and flapping them around.  I thought he might be having a seizure.

After the play we changed and headed back to 30 Rock for some skating.  The girls really wanted to check out the rink, I was hoping Gracie might find her love for skating again.

Grace on Katie on the rink

Everyone is happy for now.

Katie can you let go of your phone. #lifeline????

Ashley are you having fun?

Great full day in NYC.  Saw some big ticket items but we also found some spots that give NYC its character and soul.  What will happen on Friday???  Maybe I should ask the experts they appear to be open.
