Feliz Navidad

Wednesday, December 25th, 2019 was our first full day at sea.  The Hingham Butners were up early.  The EP Butners were up pretty early too, considering they hit the midnight mass.  The Anseth family doesn’t get up early ever.  I was not motivated after I attended midnight Christmas mass and got right with the Lord.  Kari was surprised I would join her at mass,  as I walk with the Lord everyday, but I did and then I slept in.

After a quick breakfast it was time for origami.  Nothing says Christmas like the Japanese art of folding paper.  I survived an insufferable busy body giving me unsolicited advice long enough for the Butners to arrive and rescue me.  We made snowflakes which isn’t really origami.  It is more like a 4th grade art project but it was fun.

Check out these sweet snowflakes.  No two snowflakes look alike unless, they are protesting- then they all look like rich urban hipsters.

After snowflakes the crew was completely unfocused. Spa, reading books, fitness, informational talks and there was an amazing sale in the boat for 35% off Citizen Watches.  What a deal.  Just when I thought I couldn’t get any better it did!!!!!! Johnny Walker blue was on double secret ocean sale!!!! Heaven help us the deals really are a miracle.

Most of the day was spent relaxing.  Some played games, some read books and a few people we able to fit in a massage.  The sun came out in the afternoon for  and incredibly enjoyable afternoon.

The view from our deck.

At around 2, the Anseth family opened their stockings.  We were on a bit of a schedule as Gracie had plans for trivia at 3.

Gracie is very pleased with her Bob Ross coloring book.  “There are no mistakes only happy accidents”

Ashley is preparing to open her stocking.  She was quite pleased with her presents.  πŸ™ŒπŸ» Kari!!!!!

Kari notice their was a Martini 🍸 tasting at 3 PM and insisted that as many people should go as possible.  Lance and I didn’t want to see her go by herself so we reluctantly joined her.

Needless to say this was an enjoyable experience for Kari.  She did need to call in TB to finish the last one.  Kari was feeling very relaxed in the afternoon just in time for Christmas charades.

The next 3 photos are from a Christmas charades clue.  Since I can’t get the comments section to work you can put your guess out via text or DM on Instagram.  Give yourself 45 sec.  Remember it is Christmas charades

Guesses?!?!?!!

After that we had our Secret Santa exchanges.  Abby gave M&Ms with her face on them.  The presents were great and so was the laughter.

Posing!!!

Merry Christmas.  Ellle don’t sneeze we don’t have any pepper but plenty of hand sanitizer.

My secret Santa πŸŽ…πŸ» killed it.  Come on You Spurs!!!.  I may eventually run out of stories but I won’t run out of battery πŸ”‹ charge.

After gifts it was dinner.  We switched up the seating arrangements a little which lead to some great conversation.  Ric Steele dropped by our table to  check on his back up singers.  Check Lily B vlog for footage.  We finished the night with a spectacular Christmas show. Singing, dancing, acrobats and “Let it Go”.  I am not sure let it go is a Christmas song.

Tomorrow will be another hard day of relaxing.
