Lost in the Fjords

Thursday, January 2nd, 2020 was another day at sea.  These days at sea allow for a little slower pace.  Again some people slept in. Some people (me) enjoyed chocolate croissants (x10) and hot chocolate (x4).  I then proceeded to drop into a sugar coma in the solarium for a solid hour.
The fjords of  Chile 🇨🇱 in the afternoon
Everyone was left to their own devices most of the day.
Sadie, Grace, Abby, Casey and Grandma 🎩 danced
Lily. Maddie, Sophie, Katie and Kari took in the spa.
Mary worked out and enjoyed a book
Lara and Elle read books in the solarium and relaxed.
TB and LB relaxed with some books and some working out.
I sat around and ate thing, drank things and worked on this blog.  If you don’t know —- I am the James Brown of family travel bloggers— “The hardest working man in Show Business.”

I did spend 20 minutes talking to a gentleman from Dallas who has been to 97 countries.  He discussed with me the need to study the languages and the food in the countries you visit.  He was a great stranger to talk to and I was able to review some of the discussions my main man “Malcom Gladwell” was making in his book “Talking to Strangers”.

Later I took a ridiculous amount of pictures of the Chilean coast.

This is the helipad, Ashley threatened you get evacuated if our vacation didn’t get more fun.  This would have been her departure point.

Fjords and Mountains

More mountains and some fjords

Is this the same picture as before.  No the aperture and shutter speed are different.  It is a completely different picture.  Ooohhh.  Look.  Ooohhh

Blue sky and blue water
We had a great dinner filled with laughter and cheer.  We played our favorite dinner game. Best part of the day were everyone goes around the table and discussed  the best part of their day.  Mine was chocolate croissants.

After dinner most went to the show.  It was awesome according to the crew that attended.  I went to the forward sky lounge and watched the sunset while I wrote some of these blog post.  The views were amazing,  the Moscow Mules not so much.

Sunset at sea.

All in all not a bad day.  Tomorrow we will invade Puerto Montt.  Elle said we all needed to go to bed early so we did.
