Hasta La Vista, Baby

Saturday, March 30th, 2019 was our last day at Isla Palenque.  One more day on the Pacific coast of Panama basking in the sun and enjoying 88 + degrees Fahrenheit.

I was up early and took a walk on the beach.  Kari was actually up and came along too.  Nothing like a nice relaxing walk on the beach to start your day.  We did have a little company on our walk.

Howler monkeys out for a snack.  They could be confused with Ashley and Katie based on their behavior.

This one wanted in on the action too.

Little Flycatcher

Angry squirrel

This cool looking hawks

After the walk a little French Toast was in order.

So French Toasty...... yum

After breakfast, the girls played in the pool or read or snap chatted.  Kari and I enjoyed one final beach yoga session.  It was actually great.  We were joined by another couple from Miami so we had a little bigger group.  We packed, swam in the ocean and enjoyed one final lunch.  A couple of Balboas and it wa time to go.

One last look at the beach heading from our casita to the pool.

One last shot of the Gulf of Chiquití

Goodbye Casita

Goodbye outdoor sinks, shower and tub.  Thank for the help little mice getting Kari ready.

The closest I could get to a farewell family photo.  The Anseths have left the building

A 1.5 hour bus ride to David and the a 45 min flight on Panama Air and we were back in Panama City.

Yeah Air Panama!!!!

We arrived at the Hilton.

The crew is holding it together.  Barely holding it together.

Watched some basketball had a little dinner.

Ceviche and and IPA.

Bed.  The car comes at 5:45 AM tomorrow is a full travel day so this is probably the last post on this trip.  Great times, love the diversity of 🇵🇦 Panama.  We will have to break this down later but a pretty great trip
