It was a beautiful day on the island - sun, blue sky and gentle sea breezes. Kari and I arrived to the beach much earlier than the other members of our party. The under 40 set seem to really like to sleep in these days.

Just chilling on the beach
The sun was warm. The beer was cold and we were surrounded by the cast of the Jersey Shore.
Katie staying out of the ☀️. We are pretty close to the equator so the sun is not always our friend
A little light reading on the beach. Thinking probabilisticly our vacation has a 79% of being awesome.
After relaxing on the beach for awhile, the young bloods wanted to try their hand at parasailing 🪂 . The boat needed me in the front for balance.
The crew before we set off for a glide.
BB and KT are all smiles
Up up and away
Ashley and Grace are friends!!!
ML, Gracie and Ashley are ready for take off.
In the evening we went for a sunset cruise with Capt. Anthony, Duane, Rose and Alex (13 year old boy assistant). The cruise was great and relaxing. Captain Anthony tolerated an endless supply of my questions. Alex was a great 3rd mate and spent the cruise impressing teenage girls.
Our meeting spot prior to the cruise
The kids on the sailboat
The kids with Alex. They loved talking with him about life in Aruba. He liked telling the girls of his exploits.
Looks a little stormy friends. Not sure how this sunset is going to shake out.
Not bad. I under exposed it a little for effect.
Back at the dock. 2 minutes later it was raining like crazy.
We did have time for one more picture. Katie and BB really like this cow.
For dinner we tried a couple of simple places near the hotel. Nothing to write home about. When we finally returned to our rooms for bed we were reminded about how precious life can be.❤️JL
How we spend our time is important. It is probably our most precious commodity. Do we spend it frivolously or on experiences that add value in our lives or in the world. Today I spent my time well. Thinking, laughing and loving time with my family and friends.
