Anseth Family Adventures: Little trips

For the loyal follower of this blog, you know it has been stalled out for a little bit following our defeat in Mexico 🇲🇽. However in the end you need to give the people what they want. With now big trips after Mexico we kept it pretty low key the rest of 2024. Here are a few high points.

Ashley Grace graduated from the University of Wisconsin in May 2024. She has returned for 2024-2025 to get a masters in accounting.

After Madison, Kari and I spent a little time at a place outside of Knoxville called Blackberry Farm. The location and the weather were perfect. The food was amazing especially the Cheese Geeks sharing their knowledge with us.

In June there was a quick boys trip to Asheville, North Carolina. We played a little golf and sample the vibrant food and microbrew scene. They do shut it down early in Asheville. Also watch out because not everyone loves Christopher Cross and Michael McDonald.

In July we hit a wedding in Boulder, Colorado. Our neighbors daughter ties the knot and we had an epic night of dancing and laughter.

In August, we celebrate Jerry’s birthday in Las Vegas. We took in some shows and eat some amazing food. I think the high point might be Jerry getting to play blackjack with his granddaughter.

Concordia College in Oct for homecoming. It was a beautiful weekend. I was able to see a lot of old friends and share a lot of laughs. Unfortunately, I didn’t take those photos.

Our final fling of 2024 was a weekend in Iowa with the girls. Grace stayed home to watch Molly. We enjoyed Iowa City and all the girls friends. Not everyone enjoyed the 42-10 beat down Iowa gave Wisconsin.
