Island 🌴 hoppers

March 27th, 2018 was a sad Tuesday.  We were leaving Moorea for Bora Bora.  It had been so much fun that I didn’t want to leave.  I went back to our huts 2-3 times to ensure we didn’t leave anything behind but mostly because I loved the view so much.

Looking back into our room. What a great hut on the water.

The girls outside our huts.  The sun is in their eyes.  Gracie is not making devil faces.

On last buffet breakfast and we were off to the airport. Moorea has noticed a run on cocco krispies since the arrival of Grace Anseth.

Packed up and on the bus we headed to the Moorea airport for our flight to Bora Bora.

On the bus to the airport the enthusiasm is palpable!!!

They did give our little terroist a ticket to Bora Bora.  Scissors safely stowed in the checked luggage.  Kari’s luggage just in case the TSA was profiling her.

On the tarmac to our plane.

Alright, let’s get to Bora Bora.

We did make one stop at Tikehau.  Ten people got on and about six people got off , we were on the island for less than 25 minutes.  From there it was on to Bora Bora.  The airport is actually on a little island so after you get your bags you have to take a boat to your resort.  Our resort was the Intercontinental Thalasso Resort and Spa Bora Bora.

The Beatles have arrived in Bora Bora

In th shadows, this is the dock where the hotels pick you up at.

Palpable enthusiasm, can you feel it?

Over the water  bungalows!!!!!

At the reception area.  That is Bora Bora behind us.  That is my lovely wife beside me!!!!

So this is our bungalow.  It is ridiculous!!!!!  It is at the very end and Bora Bora is directly across from us.  It is amazing!!!

Our view of Bora Bora from the deck.  Are you kidding me???

The girls hit the pool.

Katie is ready to jump into the South Pacific.

We had a little time to unpack but before we knew it dinner time was upon us.  We headed to the Reef restaurant for our fabulous meal.  After dinner everyone was pretty much ready for bed.

Hinano Gold !!!

Looking back at the resort as we walk back to our bungalow.

Everyone wa tucked into bed.  Tomorrow we snorkel and adventure in the waters around Bora Bora.

Bora Bora at night from our deck.  If you look directly up from the highest peak you will see the 3 stars of Orion’s Belt.  I thought this picture was cool.  The girls not so much.
