A bridge and a musical

Saturday, September 22 was an unusual day.  Kari and I both slept in till we didn’t feel like sleeping anymore.  We went and got a metro pass and rode the subway to downtown.  Kari stopped for a Starbucks and we headed for the iconic Brooklyn Bridge.  We planned on maybe walking around Brooklyn.

A great day but lots of traffic on the bridge.

We made it to Brooklyn

Back on the Bridge to Manhattan

At the oculus center catching the subway back to or hotel.  Can you find John Wick in this photo?

We had a bite at our hotel and the headed over to see the musical, Dear Evan Hanson.  It was just great.  Funny and poignant, a great way to spend the evening with your wife

Go see Dear Evan Hansen at the Music Box.

One last walk in Time Square

Oohh the sea of humanity

Times Square

After the musical we went back to the hotel.  The Intercontinental was nice and the best part was this was 200 ft from the front door

Kari, Kari, Kari did you know there was a Shake Shack on the corner.  Sweet Christmas

No blog for Sunday we are on a plan for home at 6:30 AM.
