Hey can I get a Wahlburger? No

On the Thursday of fall break, Scotty D and I were up before the sun.  A short trip, 1 hour up the coast, to play a little golf at Pelican Hills.   A beautiful golf course near the ocean.  With a hop in our step and a Dew in our hand we head to the car.  Oooohh no the dome light is on, the auto door locks won't work.  Scotty D climbs thru the trunk to discover there battery is obviously dead.  STONE DEAD.
I run around the rental looking for cables. Scotty D digs through both sets of rental cars.  We finally make enough noise and sound sad enough that our wives told us to just take the car they were going to use with the kids.  We take off.  This is great we are in Cali and I have a reason to drive fast. Our tee time was 7:05, we hit the clubhouse at 7:10 and joined our 4 some on hole 2.  They informed us that they were going to play fast, hopped in the cart with the fore caddy and were gone.  3 shanks into the bushes an my heart rate finally dropped below 150.  Mark Wahlberg and his boys played r1 hole in front of us.  We never caught up with him.  Too bad, I am sure his crew would have loved to hang with us.

On the way back it was only natural to stop at Torrey Pines for a look around and some inspiration for another trip to San Diego.

That night Kari and Deb were lucky enough to get some quality time with Scotty D and Scotty A.  Wahlberg didn't call.  Diner out at an amazing restaurant called Juniper and Ivy.

A great day of fun and sun!!!
