Our first stop on our cruise was Juneau, AK. Just like on any cruise there were plenty of opportunities for "low cost extra special pricing" on watches and tanzanite jewelry. We avoided that and decide to try a little whale watching. After cruising out into the bay, we were treated to a series of beautiful tails and blow hole. Are blow holes beatiful??? My mom and the girls had a great time.
After that we did a little hiking out to the Mendenhale Glacier. Great hike, 20 minutes, amazing views and nobody missed the bus back to Juneau.
We returned to the dock in time to grab dinner. Most chose to have a light meal. One of use decided to live it up.
My mom was thankful that we all returned to the boat
