Yeah.....but it's a dry heat

December 23rd started a 5 AM again.  The Hansa Solo's from last night didn't make me any speedier in the morning.

The game ride started smoothly but you could tell it was significantly hotter today then yesterday.  A lot less activity from all the animals.  We may have a better chance of seeing a Unicorn then a leopard.  Here is the morning action

Praying mantis

Roller coastering down the hills on the western fence

Bull Cape Buffalo

Jackel.....his name is Carlos

Young Impalas fighting now named
Ashley and Katie

Jackal pup

After that our action slowed down quite a bit.  We did explore an old elephant kill.

Bones and the elephant skin.  It is crazy tough

Look at the bones...look at the bones

We had time for another family game.  I was ready but the rules had changed.  This time we had to spit giraffe dung. If you are reading this, you can actually hear Ashley eyes roll right about now.
We drew a line in the dirt and it was game.  The girls couldn't handle the increased weight.  I was able to fire mine a good 13-15 ft, clearly dominated the family competition.  I was ready for a victory dance after Sam couldn't match my effort. However, Cornell would not be denied.  He pop that piece of dung in his mouth rolled it around until it was covered with and aerodynamic layer of spit.
BAM, he fired it 15-17 ft.  I guess, I have more practicing to do.

At the end of the ride we saw this
Hare

Are resident scatologist, poop experts Abby and Grace, identified some hyena and hippo poop.  No two people have been more interested in what come out the back end of Africa's favorite animals.

I went back to the cabin to relax when I saw this terrifying pack of animals roaming the grounds.  I immediately locked my doors. I also saw some baboons doing the same.
